HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I wish you all a Happy Halloween.

Big night for the Nipper and her mates. They started with pumpkin carving in the week (I'll still be treading on those seeds at Christmas). But didn't they do well?

I'll be watching the Villa game tonight while dolling out sweets at the door. The last time I did this we were hammered by West Ham. A trick, not a treat.

But, and uncannily, Halloween for us has evolved into a time for family, fun, some community spirit and a little neighbourhood magic. Long may it continue.
